composite operator

marine

“Being a composite operator means building the composite structure of the boats, going through the mold preparation, the lamination of the first fabrics, the draping, and through the infusion, which is a very important stage, where we see the quality and the outcome of our previous work. What I like about my job is being able to organize my work, the autonomy I’m given within a structured organization, and the trust I’m given. Being a composite operator, apart from being manual and physically fit, also means knowing how to adapt, and having the desire to learn. There are so many different tasks, and the same thing you’ve just done won’t be done again until a month later on a new boat. I see my development at Privilège Marine as an adventure!”

carpenter fitter

jessica

“My main mission is to help deliver the boat on time, while making our customers’s dream come true! To do this, I carry out the interior outfitting of the boats right up to the finishing touches, including installing the ceilings, dressing the partitions, as well as dressing the panels in fine wood species. Then I assemble the furniture on the boat, and fit the threaders to create a beautiful finish. What I like about my job is the variety of tasks, and the fact that we’re trusted to work at our own pace, all on top-of-the-range, customized boats. It’s a job where you don’t hesitate to take the initiative, to give ideas, while being rigorous, meticulous, and acting as if it were your own boat!”
