Ownership
Your Privilège begins with the way you want to live at sea — long before the first piece of composite is laid.
Your journey starts with a vision
Whether you dream of crossing oceans as a couple, spending several months each year in the Mediterranean, welcoming family and friends aboard or preparing for a circumnavigation, every project begins by understanding how you intend to use your yacht.
From the first conversation to your first miles at sea, our role is to shape a catamaran around that vision — and remain by your side throughout the ownership journey.
01. DEFINE YOUR PROGRAMME
Your sailing project comes first.
The first conversation at Privilège is not about an options list. It is about you: where you want to sail, how long you will spend aboard, who will share the journey and how autonomous you want to be.
Those choices influence far more than the number of cabins. They shape storage, energy, water production, refrigeration, communications, sail handling, tender arrangements, technical systems and the way every space aboard is conceived.
This is where a Privilège begins: with your programme, not with a predefined configuration.
02. FIND YOUR PRIVILÈGE
The right yacht is the one that fits the life ahead.
Every model shares the same foundations: bluewater capability, comfort, safety and an owner-centric approach. The difference lies in the scale, programme and degree of autonomy your project requires.

03. THE OWNERSHIP JOURNEY
From your vision to the ocean.
Privilège builds a limited number of yachts in Les Sables d’Olonne. Depending on the model and level of personalisation, the shipyard currently describes a delivery period of around 12 to 18 months. That time includes the owner brief, technical specification, construction, joinery, systems integration, rig preparation, finishing, commissioning and sea trials.
The objective is to hand over a complete yacht whose equipment has been defined upstream. The owner is not left with a lightly equipped base boat that then requires a large external commissioning programme to become genuinely ready for long-distance sailing. Commissioning and testing belong inside the Privilège build and validation process.
01. The project definition
Destinations, crew strategy, autonomy, private or charter use and the owner’s priorities are defined first.
02. ThE technical specification
Layout, systems, energy, storage, navigation, sails, communications and comfort equipment follow the programme.
03. The constructioN, SEA trials AND delivery
The yacht is built, commissioned and tested in Les Sables d’Olonne before handover. Delivery marks the beginning of your journey.

The delivery is the beginning of ownership.
Long-distance ownership needs support after the yacht leaves France. Privilège Global Care provides direct communication with the shipyard, including a dedicated WhatsApp group and a stated commitment to acknowledge requests within 24 hours. Its support network extends across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, United States and Pacific, with mobile technical teams available when shipyard knowledge is needed on location.
A bluewater yacht is a complex technical system. Maintenance never disappears. What matters is having a clear route back to the people who know how the yacht was built.
The ownership value extends beyond the first years
A luxury yacht is primarily an object of use and pleasure, yet residual value matters. Privilège benefits from limited production, owner-oriented layouts, long-range capability and a market identity centred on private bluewater ownership.
Our market analysis published in July 2026 found that a well-specified Privilège can retain around 80% of its original value after the initial new-yacht market reset. That figure is a benchmark, not a guarantee. Condition, specification, tax status, maintenance, market timing and ownership history all affect the selling price. The same analysis found very limited used supply on YachtWorld on 16 July 2026: two 510s, one Signature 580 and no Signature 650.
A yacht retains value when the next owner can understand its purpose, trust its construction and use it without having to redesign it. A coherent owner specification, documented maintenance and genuine bluewater capability help preserve that relevance.
The Privilège advantage is freedom without compromise
Owning a Privilège means deciding how you want to live at sea and then building the yacht around that decision. It may be a circumnavigation with two people aboard, long summers in the Mediterranean, a Caribbean base with Atlantic crossings, a large private yacht with crew or a sophisticated charter programme.
The common ground is safe bluewater capability, refined comfort and personal freedom. The yacht is designed to cross oceans, built to be lived in and developed around the requirements of the person who owns it. When delivery day comes, the yacht should already make sense for the life ahead.
