Privilège Marine launches Owner Services, providing worldwide catamaran after-sales support, maintenance, refit, upgrades and long-term technical care.
Privilège Marine is launching Privilège Owner Services, a comprehensive programme designed to support owners throughout the life of their catamaran. From remote technical assistance and worldwide repairs to catamaran maintenance, yacht refit, technology upgrades and winter servicing, the programme creates a direct link between owners and the shipyard that originally built their boat.
The objective is simple: wherever a Privilège is sailing, its owner should know who to contact, who understands the yacht and how the right technical expertise can reach it.
The Shipyard Relationship Does Not End at Delivery
A bluewater catamaran can spend decades travelling thousands of nautical miles from the shipyard where it was built. Maintenance requirements change, equipment ages and new technologies appear.
For Privilège Marine, this makes after-sales service an integral part of yacht ownership rather than simply a warranty function.
Privilège Owner Services gives owners direct access to the technical knowledge of the shipyard in Les Sables-d’Olonne. A technical problem can first be assessed remotely through photographs, videos, alarm messages and operating information. Privilège commits to acknowledging owner requests within 24 hours and defining the appropriate next step.
Depending on the situation, assistance can then be provided through selected technical partners in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, United States and Pacific, or directly by Privilège Marine’s own mobile technical teams.
The New Programme Covers Maintenance, Refit and Upgrades
The service goes significantly beyond troubleshooting.
Privilège Marine can coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs, but also increasingly important catamaran refit and upgrade projects.
Owners can modernise existing yachts with lithium battery systems, solar panels, Starlink connectivity, cameras, watermakers, air conditioning, SEA.AI collision-avoidance technology or bow thrusters.
More extensive projects can include new rudders, teak decks, hard tops, engine overhauls, interior refits, upholstery, cabinetry and structural work.
The advantage is technical continuity. Instead of treating each improvement independently, the shipyard can analyse how new equipment integrates with the yacht’s existing electrical, mechanical and structural systems.
The Winter Programme Brings the Boat Back to Its Builder
A dedicated Winter Programme in Les Sables-d’Olonne allows owners to combine haul-out, maintenance, repairs and upgrades during the same period ashore.
One project manager coordinates the work, creating a single point of contact and allowing winter downtime to become productive preparation for the following sailing season.
The work carried out can also become part of the yacht’s long-term technical history. This creates valuable continuity for technicians, captains and future owners.
The Owner Relationship Extends to Resale
Privilège Owner Services has deliberately been designed around the complete ownership cycle: new build, ownership and care, refit and upgrade, and ultimately resale support.
When an owner decides to sell, Privilège Marine can therefore present a yacht whose maintenance and refit history it already knows.
For a yacht designed to cross oceans, that continuity matters.
The same shipyard that built the boat remains available to care for it, improve it and support its owner — wherever the voyage leads.
